no i dont think it would be awkward. i think people should be grateful.brbryouve put your hand in ur pocket, paid towards a cause you believe in, which will help out with thousands of widows, servicemen and families. anyone who looks at you weird or starts anything should feel awkward.brbrirrelevant of it being the british legion, it is a symbol of respect for the lives laid down in ALL wars and a thankyou that though tha sacrifice we are all here.brbri wouldnt look at ur colour or creed, i would just assume a silent thanks for all the sh!t my grandparents went thru durin ww
